I recently used The Space Station to rent my 2800 sq ft loft apartment in King’s Cross. Frankly they originally were my third choice, as I did not know them as well as two other specialist companies that had been operating in the “loft market.” However, I was pleasantly surprised as they not only found me several good prospects along the way, but also landed the perfect tenant at my asking price. Not only will I use them again, I have recommended them to my neighbours and listed them on our building’s website.

I have encountered the Space Station on two occasions: When I bought my flat and then again when I sold it. Both experiences were flawless. Space Station is highly differentiated from most estate agents in London. The service is personal and proactive; this is not a team that waits to be called by prospective buyers. Space Station takes the time to familiarize itself with the property it is selling, learns every detail of the property, and then develops a highly detailed plan for getting the property sold. The results are outstanding. In my case, the outcome was far better than expected, as Space Station achieved for me a record per-square-foot price. I listed my flat at about the same time as two others in my building. Mine went from listing to accepted offer in just over a week.

The other two flats, using different agents (not Space Station) have not been as fortunate...one is still on the market (3 months in one of the best property markets London has seen in years) and the other was sold for half the square foot value that Space Station was able to achieve for me.

My dealings with Russell at the Space Station were about as straight forward as you could hope for. I viewed the property three times in two weeks and was impressed by both his and his team’s knowledge, of the property and the local area. I have to say that I have on the whole had a great experience with Space Station as letting agents. Emails and calls are always returned promptly and they constantly update and keep you aware of the situation. Previous lettings agents we have used in the past, who despite having a greater presence and reputation in London have provided us with appalling customer service, pressurized us into making decisions and in the end found us less that ideal tenants and seemingly left us to pick up the pieces when things went sour with the tenants, including a large amount of damage to the property. Space Station have continued to assist us in every way possible even after the tenants have moved in and have been patient with us throughout the whole process, understanding that the landlord is based abroad and thus decisions and specifications take a little longer to decide on.

Our experience of Space station with their letting and management service has been excellent. We met a few different estate agents from the area before we instructed Space Station. We even had an offer through Stirling Ackroyd, which fell through.

After the offer from Stirling Ackroyd fell through we were nervous about marketing the property again. Space Station was very confidant that they would be able to sell the property and that they would be able to get a top price. Within about a week we had a very high offer from a serious buyer.

We were impressed that Space Station had actively marketed the property and called people that they knew were looking and would be serious buyers.

We had been disappointed with other agents in the area who had just loaded details onto their web site and not done very much.

At first we were concerned that they only had one office but they were much better, in terms of customer service, marketing the property and achieving the best price than the other local agents who have a network of offices. I think that this is because Space Station are very experienced and know the area well and they research their potential buyers so as not to get offers that do not come to fruition. They are very good agents and as our property was a bit unusual it really needed an agent that could see the potential and sell it to the potential buyer.

Space Station are very good to deal with after the offer had been made, they always returned calls promptly, were available out of hours and were very active in ensuring that contracts were exchanged.

Altogether we were very impressed with Space Station and would definitely use them again.

I moved to Shoreditch in 1997 by 1999 I was looking to expand my business and needed a new property to do this. I found Space Station and through them an ideal property that was exactly what I wanted. Being chain free and with the excellent help of Space Station I had my offer accepted and had the keys to the property within six weeks!

Some five years later I needed to move and had found another new premises, I approached Space Station and my property was quickly on the market and on their website complete with pictures.

Within three weeks Space Station had found me a buyer and I accepted their offer. The sale proved to be quite complex and needed the expertise that Space Station had combined with their knowledge of the local market. Space Station handled the sale with all its ups and downs and within a couple of months the sale was complete.
